Facial features, colours and markings provide a blueprint of the emotional and physical state of the body.
Ancient Chinese Medicine Facial diagnosis gives insight into a person’s constitution, their emotional tendencies, their disease patterns and their belief systems. Utilizing these diagnostic signs when creating acupuncture/acupressure prescriptions, herbal formulas and lifestyle recommendations can bring miraculous healing changes.
In this extensive recording of the Live Zoom Workshop, CT Holman teaches the Lillian Pearl Bridge’s lineage of Chinese Medicine Facial Diagnosis and how to read the different aspects on the face, including practical techniques and methods on how to read faces via telemedicine conference. This also includes recommended lighting and techniques for how to read patients’ faces online. CT will explain to attending participants how to assess the state of each organ system by reading the various colours and features on the face in order to more confidently arrive at a classical, traditional, research-based and shamanic diagnosis.
Participants will learn how to read when Jing (essence) was compromised for a patient and when the patient might experience a trauma in the future. CT will explain what emotions a person has tendencies towards by reading the face.
By understanding the balance of the five elements seen on the face, a thorough diagnosis can be achieved. CT will give several acupuncture prescriptions to treat imbalances found by Facial Diagnosis and how to treat any underlying factors contributing to the pathophysiology using acupuncture, acupressure prescriptions, herbal formulas and/or lifestyle recommendations.

Hour 1: Introduction to Applied Facial Diagnosis in Chinese Medicine and utilising it in Telemedicine practice- discussion and explanation of the various facial features and colours found on the face (healthy and pathological colours).
Hour 2: Discussion and explanation of detailed description of the five elements of the face. Needling demonstrations + Q and A section at end (5-10 minutes)
Hour 3: Appropriate strategies for acupuncture channel selection and point designations. Acupuncture prescriptions to address organ and channel imbalances with needling demonstration + Q and A section (5-10 minutes)
Hour 4: Face reading demonstration with video footage and photos of two volunteers by CT Holman + Q and A after (10-15 minutes)
