An opportunity has become available to join an integrative Chinese Medicine Clinic in Westmead, Sydney- that offers evidence and research-based IVF, Fertility and Pregnancy Acupuncture treatments.
“The Acupuncture Pregnancy Clinic team are a collegiate group that collaborate and share resources, ideas, in-house herbal formulations, education opportunities, and our clinical experience. We have a strong community of exceptional and experienced like-minded TCM practitioners across our clinic sites. We regularly get together (online mostly ATM) to engage in peer learning, educational meetings to exchange our clinical experiences”.
The position would suit a practitioner who:
- Has a good understanding of TCM approaches relating to IVF, Fertility and Pregnancy.
- Is empathic and caring, with well-established inter-professional and interpersonal skills.
- Has a commitment to integrative medical practices and working with medical and other allied health practitioners.
- Has a strong interest in TCM research surrounding IVF, Fertility and Pregnancy and desire to keep learning.·
- Would like to be part of a caring and knowledgeable team of practitioners & to participate in team-based peer learning.
- Completed course work and/or has read “The Treatment of Infertility with Chinese Medicine” by Jane Lyttleton.
Pay is based on an hourly Sole Trader rate plus 12% per hour superannuation payments.

Job Title: Casual Receptionist at Village Remedies Acupuncture clinics
We are a group of clinics that practise in Balmain, Sydney CBD, Hobart and have a community acupuncture clinic in North Bondi. We are seeking a Tcm student to join our team as a receptionist at our well-established acupuncture clinics in Balmain, Sydney CBD and possibly North Bondi. It is our intention to mentor and train the student to become a full time practitioner at our clinics once thier studies are over. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, primarily focusing on front desk duties, payments, bookings, ordering stock, assisting with marketing efforts and treatments. Plus training in chinese medicine and assisting in treatments
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
- Maintain a welcoming and organised reception area.
- Appointment Scheduling and Payments:
- Schedule appointments efficiently using our booking system.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with accuracy.
- Assist in ensuring a smooth flow of appointments.
- Stock Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels.
- Place orders for acupuncture supplies and clinic necessities.
- Organise and track stock deliveries.
- Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote clinic services.
- Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials.
- Maintain and update social media platforms.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and experience with scheduling software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in holistic health and wellness.
- Studying TCM/ in the TCM feild would be preferred.
Working Hours:
This is a casual position, and working hours will vary based on clinic needs. Flexibility in availability, including evenings and weekends, is essential. Shift will be between our Balmain and Sydney CBD clinics
