Workshop Outline

Welcome to our comprehensive Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture Workshop, your gateway to unlocking the full potential of Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture with Dr Emily Teo.

Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) is an acupuncture microsystem developed in 1973 by Dr. Toshikatsu Yamamoto. This innovative approach harnesses anatomical and channel somatotopes to modulate biologically-mediated signaling. It offers a targeted solution for addressing neurological disorders, and is a world-renowned acupuncture system for providing both symptomatic relief and root treatment effects to individuals with restricted mobility. Explore this groundbreaking system that paves the way for holistic well-being

Day 1

Building a Strong Foundation Begin the YNSA journey by delving into the essential fundamentals and concepts that will solidify diagnosis, mechanism, regions and point locations.

YNSA Basic Points

  • A to I
  • Sensory
  • Cranual and ypsilon points
  • Somatopes
  • J,K,I chest

Diagnostic Techniques

  • Elbow
  • Neck
  • Abdomen
  • Hegu

Formulating Treatment Protocol

This might be a new language for some newcomers and familiar terminology for those wanting to further consolidate their understanding of the system.

Learn crucial diagnostic techniques, including the areas/points of elbow, neck, abdominal and Hegu assessments. Emily will offer only the best clinical pearls within the course to make it easy and clear for all participants. Learn all the point locations and the full system from the leading expert in the field.

Day 2

Advancing Your Skills with Extra Points
Elevate your YNSA understanding and application further as you explore advanced techniques and extra points in this fascinating Scalp Acupuncture System. This day will encompass the topics of:

Extra Points:

  • Correlation points
  • Tinnitus points
  • C and C-reflected points
  • Soleus points for hand and fingers
  • Throat points
  • Perineal points
  • Groin points,
  • J K thorax lumbar points.

Case Study: Defining the application of YNSA in neuro MSK problems.

Throughout this course, you will not only become well-versed in YNSA but also gain the knowledge and experience required to seamlessly integrate these techniques into your acupuncture practice. Join us on this exciting journey as you work towards upskilling and becoming an expert of a system and technique that doesn’t take years to learn. This is because the effect of each point is easy to understand as the needle is inserted into the point connected to the site of the symptom cause (the location projected on the head).

To enable fast learning and implementation, the technique has been systemised and you will be able to take away another technique which produces oft-times miraculous results.
