About Tina Czech
Tina Czech is the founding director of the Australian Institute of Laser Therapy which was officially opened in the city of Melbourne on the 9th of December 1997. Her extensive involvement at both a research and educational level, combined with 20 years of hands on clinical experience has made her one of the leading experts in the field of phototherapy and lasermedicine.
Tina has studied in the United Kingdom, USA and Germany and now provides private consultancy services for the integration of PhotoBioModulcation (PBM) and phototherapy into medical and allied health care clinics, as well as designing, supervising and facilitating PBM research projects.
Ms Czech is a member of the World Association for Laser Therapy (WALT) and is a regular reviewer of laser research and was a founding committee member of the Royal District Nursing Service LLLT laser Research Group and involved at an education and supervisory level in the first Australian study relating to laser phototherapy in wound care.
She is a reviewer of research manuscript and a member of the World Academy of Laser Applications and International editorial board for the European Medical Laser Association and was granted Life membership of the International Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery in recognition of her expertise in this field.
