Description
Pulse One – Understanding the Depths of Pulse Diagnostics: An In-Depth Workshop Presented by Dr. Kaiyan and Dr. Abbie
This hands-on workshop is designed to deepen your understanding of pulse diagnosis and its practical application in clinical practice. Moving well beyond what is typically covered in university training, the day focuses on building genuine diagnostic confidence, from distinguishing subtle pulse qualities to constructing clear treatment plans directly from pulse findings.
What you will learn:
- How to distinguish pulse qualities with confidence, including understanding that not all pulses of the same name present identically across patients
- Pulse diagnostic frameworks and how to translate findings into clear clinical diagnoses
- How to recognise pathogenic patterns before they become fully expressed
- How pulses transition between qualities, and what those shifts mean in both TCM and Western health terms
- How to build treatment plans and simplify treatment strategies directly from pulse diagnosis
- What to prepare before taking a pulse, including a pre-pulse routine that significantly improves the accuracy of your reading
- How to describe pulse qualities with precision and without ambiguity
You will also have the opportunity to practise on more than 20 live pulses and ask Dr. Kaiyan and Dr. Abbie your questions directly throughout the day.
