MOTOR POINT ACUPUNCTURE: FROM HEAD TO TOE

This four-day workshop extends the curriculum from the 2026 Motor Point Acupuncture course to cover the entire body from head to toe. New content includes the shoulder, head and neck, forearm nerve entrapments, and lower leg nerve entrapments, alongside a return-to-sport clinical reasoning framework on Day 4.

A pre-workshop online module is included for all registrants, covering the core Motor Point Acupuncture foundations from the 2026 course. Access opens up to two months before the workshop, so all participants arrive prepared regardless of experience level.

Workshop Outline

Day 1 — Shoulder

Rotator cuff, chest wall (pectoralis major and minor, coracobrachialis), posterior shoulder (latissimus dorsi, teres major), and scapular stabilisers. Clinical presentations include shoulder impingement, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tendinopathy, and acromioclavicular joint pain.

Day 2 — Head, Neck, Upper Extremity and Nerve Entrapments

Suboccipital region (rectus capitis posterior major, obliquus capitis inferior, semispinalis capitis), neck and shoulder girdle (upper trapezius, levator scapulae, middle scalene), and TMJ dysfunction. The afternoon covers forearm nerve entrapments in full: Radial Tunnel Syndrome, Pronator Syndrome, and Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, working through the relevant muscles from proximal to distal.

Day 3 — Low Back, Hip and Sciatica

Lower Crossed Syndrome applied to chronic low back pain and sacroiliac joint pain. The full hip flexor complex (psoas, TFL, rectus femoris, sartorius) is covered in the context of anterior pelvic tilt. The afternoon addresses sciatica and sciatic nerve entrapment, gluteus minimus referral patterns that mimic sciatica, and Superior Cluneal Nerve Entrapment.

Day 4 — Knee, Foot, Achilles and Lower Limb Nerve Entrapments

Patellofemoral syndrome, IT band syndrome, Achilles tendinopathy, and plantar fasciitis. Lower leg nerve entrapments covered include sural nerve, superficial peroneal nerve, tarsal tunnel syndrome, and Baxter nerve entrapment. The day closes with a return-to-sport clinical reasoning framework and an integrative case study session.
