Description
Auricular medicine is a stand-alone treatment accessing the brain via cranial nerves to restore functionality. It is sometimes referred to simplistically as ear acupuncture. Auricular medicine accesses brain connectivity via the cranial nerves using the ear (auricle). This therapy can support individuals suffering postural problems, anxiety, headache, depression, ADHD and functional learning delay. It plays an excellent supporting role in the management of complex pain, and during chemotherapy and IVF treatments.
Auriculotherapy is based on proven correspondences between locations on the external ear and the internal organs and systems of the body. The ear acts like an input/output terminal in direct contact with the central nervous system. Information on viscerosomatic states can be accessed via visual clues, skin electro-conductivity, and pressure sensitivity at specific points.
Dr Paul Nogierās Auriculotherapy shows how acupuncture needles are used in sophisticated and powerful therapeutic interventions.
Dr Im Quah-Smith trained under Dr Rapahel Nogier and will teach the principles and practice auriculomedicine, a true frequency medicine that evolved from Dr. Paul Nogierās auriculotherapy, his discovery of the VAS (Vascular Autonomic Signal) in the pulse and his consequent observations of the diagnostic and therapeutic properties of radiant light frequencies on the skin. Auriculotherapy is sometimes referred to as āBattlefield Acupunctureā for its immediate effectiveness as a first-line therapy.
