About Peter Chen

Peter was trained in China and has a Bachelor degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a Master degree of Acupuncture. He was a qualified doctor in China for both Western medicine and Chinese medicine for 11 years before moving to Australia. He has been a visiting lecturer at the Western Sydney University’s TCM Master Degree program.

Peter runs a very successful practice, Eastcare Health Centre in Bowral, and has provided acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Tai Chi training since 2005. He also gives dietary and exercise advice when required. Located in the heart of Bowral and serving the Southern Highlands area, Peter also has many clients who come from Camden, Goulburn and Sydney.

Peter has been practising Tai Chi and Qi Gong for more than 30 years, since 1986. Thousands of students have enjoyed his classes since he started teaching professionally in 1998. His step-by-step teaching DVDs have sold around the world
