Master Jimmy Chang (also Zhang Wei Yan) is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine trained in Taiwan and a licensed acupuncturist in California and New York. He has over 35 years of concentrated clinical experience, applying his expertise in differential diagnosis and herbal prescription.

Master Chang is the author of the pulse diagnosis manual and system, , and currently pursues his specialties in private practice in Hacienda Heights, California. He is widely recognised for his skills in correlating definitive pulse diagnoses with herbal prescription. The Pulsynergy system allows Chinese medicine practitioners to interpret pulse readings into modern biomedical diseases, and then gives them the confidence to prescribe herbs to treat the pattern.
