Course Description
This key introduction will help you to effectively diagnose and treat infertility with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine formulas. In this webinar you will explore the basic TCM foundation of health in regards to the explanations of the Huang Di Nei Jing: Su Wen perspective of reproductive health cycles for women and key Chinese Medicine infertility terminology, specifically the Bao Mai, Bao Luo, Tian Gui, and Tian Gui Shui. This lecture will conclude with insightful knowledge of how Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine intersect in regards to infertility. This is the crossroads of correlating Western medical physiological structures and functions to Chinese Medicine terminology – the ovaries, egg, fallopian tubes, uterus, sperm, ovulation, hormone balance and regulation of the reproductive system to Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood.
This preliminary information guide the understanding for the next four hours of the lecture which is much more advanced, essentially a unique roadmap of using Western Medical identification, cause and symptoms of an infertility condition and the subsequent treatment and diagnosis of Unexplained Infertility using Master Tung Acupuncture in combination with Chinese Medicine Formulas.
Some conditions that may contribute to an Unexplained Infertility diagnosis in Western medicine are discussed in detail.
This course will explain Western Medicine identification, cause and symptoms of the conditions highlighted and reveal the approach for diagnosis and treatment with Master Tung Acupuncture in combination with Chinese Medicine Formulas.
Course Outline
Hour 1 – Introduction: Reproductive Health cycles for women. TCM Infertility in Chinese Medicine: the Kidney connection to other Zang and Fu. Key terminology such as Bao Mai , Bao Luo, Tian Gui, and Tian Gui Shui.
Hour 2 – Chinese Medicine Fertility correlations to Western Medicine Fertility: Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood correlations to the physiological reproductive system and reproductive functions. This is key information to assist in formulating a diagnosis and treatment principle and protocol to effectively treat Infertility with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Formulas.
Hour 3 – Western Medicine and TCM Health Conditions contributing to Infertility. Treatment strategies of Western Medicine versus Chinese Medicine. Understanding Western Bloodwork, Laboratory findings and advanced Infertility tests, Hormone Therapy, IUI, IVF.
Hour 4 – Western Medicine Identification, cause and symptoms of blood disorders in Infertility. Master Tung Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Formulas to treat Blood disorders: Menorrhagia, Metrorrhagia, Amenorrhea.
Hour 5 – Western Medical Identification, cause and symptoms of reproductive organ structural disorders. Master Tung Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Formulas to treat structural disorders of ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus and sperm defects: Recurrent Miscarriage, Ectopic Pregnancy, Pelvic Inflammatory Disorder, Endometriosis, thin endometrial lining, uterine fibroids, poor sperm quality.
Hour 6 – Western Medical Identification, cause and symptoms of reproductive hormonal disorders. Master Tung Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Formulas to treat hormonal regulation disorders: Diminished Ovarian Reserve, Premature Ovarian Failure, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, insulin Resistance, Thyroid Disorders.
