Many acupuncturists see excellent results with acupuncture to assist fertility, but do not continue treatment during pregnancy. Practitioner issues include low confidence, patient safety concerns, scope of practice, complications during birth, as well as a general lack of awareness just how helpful acupuncture and the many other techniques of East Asian Medicine (EAM) can be throughout the entire perinatal period.

This workshop presents hands-on bodywork practice and patient handouts to support the fullspectrum of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care, including but by not limited to acupuncture.
