Webinar Description

Designed as a practical and easy-to-understand dermatology course, Sabine Schmitz shares her years of knowledge that you can immediately apply in your daily practice.

Dermatological issues can be one of the most difficult disorders that one can treat. The disease patterns are complex, and so many skin diseases are deep-rooted and resistant to treatment. The challenge of diagnosing and treating skin diseases requires a highly skilled ability to observe and to analyse. Oftentimes, conventional medicine may only have pharmaceutical drugs at their disposal.

One single pill can never be effective for thousands of patients, as seen in conventional medicine, when every one of these people has their own individual symptoms and different situation in life. This is the strength of TCM dermatology: a holistic approach with individual and natural treatment tailored to the needs of each individual.

This practically oriented course will teach you how to effectively modify, prescribe and customize classical herbal formulas, along with good effect is divided in two parts.

Practical, not complicated, easy to understand, proven time and time again across multiple practices worldwide as well as within Sabine’s own dermatology specialized practice.

An extensive amount of photo examples will be provided throughout the course to demonstrate how different TCM patterns, pathogenesis and etiology may show on the skin.

This course will enable you to work independently in practice, recognize the difference between patterns and immediately write a script. The webinar primarily focuses on the use of classical formulas and moderate dosages, affordable for patients along with taking you through some external topical formulations (ointments, washes and pastes).

If you have ever struggled in other dermatology courses where you have felt you haven’t been able to confidently and independently use, modify and write up classical formulas to good effect for this specialty area, then this course is for you and will elevate your understanding, skills and treatment to the next level.
