Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis: Extraordinary Vessels & The Six Channels – Thomas Richardson

4 November, 2017, 9:00 am - 5 November, 2017, 5:30 pm

$495

Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis is a powerful system of pulse diagnosis that is deeply rooted in the classics (especially the Mai Jing).

This system has also been called an ‘acupuncturist’s pulse diagnosis’, as it can accurately diagnose channel imbalances.  Once proficient in this system, the pulse can guide one immediately to a specific acupuncture point that will not only bring balance to the pulse, but also instantly shift the patient’s experience – whether by decreasing pain, increasing range of motion, changing their internal state of consciousness, or bringing about other noticeable shifts.

Practitioners can spend a lifetime dedicated to the craft of pulse diagnosis. This workshop will teach you an easy to learn system that leads to a much more precise diagnosis with instant clinical results.

Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis is based on an understanding of complementary positions and spacial correlations of the individual pulse positions. It allows one to diagnosis channel involvements (Extraordinary Vessels, 6-channel) as well as various temporal cycles (ying qi and wei qi cycles) and five-element imbalances.

This method was developed by Dr. William Morris and it is a systematic integration of classical anatomical approach to pulse taking along with channel-based methods of assessment. It is a system that is heavily influenced by the Ding Family system of pulse diagnosis.
