Based on TCM, One Point Therapy is a great Therapeutic tool for every serious Acupuncturists who treats Pain associated problems. It was created and used originally within the Chinese Army during war time, to treat pain from injuries. It can be used to treat all pains from sports injuries to chronic conditions, and in emergencies – it could be the only one needle that is used! With immediate Pain Relief, one point therapy feels as if it creates magic within seconds!
One point Therapy is for Acute pains and pains of an Excess nature. It is not very suitable for very chronic pain conditions. For pains of more recent origin, it is an excellent remedy. This technique has also been used successfully in Acupuncture Analgesia in surgery.

Dr Radha Thambirajah graduated from Shanghai Medical College in 1970. She studied medicine and specialised in acupuncture.
She established her successful practice upon returning to Sri Lanka, and founded the Academy of Chinese Acupuncture in 1980.
In 1984, Dr Thambirajah moved to England and opened the Academy of Chinese Acupuncture in Berlin, which has trained over 9000 students worldwide. With a wealth of experience in teaching, Dr Thambirajah has trained doctors and health professionals all over the world. She has been invited as a guest lecturer at a variety of conferences in Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Poland, Barcelona, Italy, and Sao Paulo.
Dr Thambirajah is the author of “Energetics in Acupuncture” and ”Cosmetic Acupuncture and Dermatological Diseases (2nd ed)”.
