Course Description

This four hour live webinar provides an in-depth exploration of the treatment of various urinary disorders using the principles, techniques and combinations Acupuncture. This course aims to equip practitioners with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively address conditions such as urinary tract infections, incontinence, cystitis, kidney stones, kidney failure, hypertrophy of the prostate gland, prostatitis, nervous bladder, weak bladder, stress incontinence, primary and secondary enuresis, problems with urination in early prostatic hypertrophy, kidney colic, and pyelo-nephritis.

Why is it important to learn urology and treat it with Acupuncture? Understanding urology and applying acupuncture techniques to treat urinary disorders is of paramount importance. Urinary conditions can significantly affect a person’s quality of life and may be challenging to manage using conventional approaches alone. Five Element Acupuncture offers a holistic and interconnected perspective that not only addresses the physical symptoms but also considers the emotional and energetic imbalances that may contribute to these disorders. By integrating this theory into the treatment of urological conditions, practitioners can provide comprehensive and effective care to their patients.

What have you seen in clinic, and why is it so difficult to treat? In clinical practice, urinary disorders often present complex diagnostic challenges with many layers specifically affecting single of multiple channel systems. Conventional treatment approaches may provide temporary relief, but long-lasting and sustainable outcomes are elusive. Many patients experience recurring symptoms or find limited success with standard treatments. The difficulty in treating these conditions lies in their multifactorial nature, involving physiological, emotional, and energetic components. Utilizing the right Acupuncture methodology, and correct point formulations based on accurate diagnosis offers a unique perspective by addressing the root causes and imbalances underlying these disorders, leading to more profound and lasting results.

Who would benefit from learning this course? This course caters to practitioners at all levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced acupuncturists. Beginners will gain a solid foundation in urology and learn how to apply Five Element Acupuncture principles to effectively treat urinary disorders. Intermediate practitioners will expand their diagnostic skills and treatment techniques, enhancing their ability to address complex cases.
