Korean Sa-Am Acupuncture Intensive: Channel pairings and treatment according to the Classics
– A Revolution of Oriental Medicine
 with Dr Sangwon Lee

Introduction and Outline

The Sa-Am Acupuncture system is a system unique to Korean medicine, it has recently gained popularity as a result of its effectiveness and underlying classical theory within the Wu Xing and Liu Qi theory of Oriental Medicine.

Dr. Sangwon Lee, Ph.D., L.Ac. will be the lecturer of this interactive class. Dr Lee is an Acupuncturist and Herbal Medicine practitioner with over 16 years of clinical experience in multiple settings ranging from hospital to outpatient practice.

As a medical professional, he has been helping patients learn to better navigate the flow of their lives and find balance.

Dr. Lee earned his medical degree in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY and obtained his Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University, CA. He maintains expertise in both pulse diagnosis and Sa-Am Acupuncture with the Five Element and 6 Conformations Theory of Oriental Medicine. He also specialized in Jae-Ma Lee’s Sa-Sang method in prescribing Herbal Medicine.

Whether we are the ones who studied Oriental medicine or not, we are all exposed to Oriental medicine theory in our daily lives. For example, the laws of Oriental medicine also affect the expressions and gestures you take unknowingly. This is because Oriental medicine is not just a law or theory that works only within the human body, but a natural law that stems from a philosophical view of all things in the universe.

Through this lecture, Dr Lee would like to help you take the first steps to view the world and patients and treat them from the philosophical perspective of Oriental medicine.

This is a LIVE ZOOM webinar with Dr Lee.  Dr Lee will be lecturing via Zoom and attendees will be able to ask Dr Lee questions during the lecture. This is because the Sa-Am system of diagnosis and point prescription may be completely new for students and is fundamental in providing effective treatments. Zoom link will be provided closer to the date.
