Intensive 4-Day Motorpoint and Trigger Point Needling for Head, Jaw, Neck, Shoulder and Upper Extremities Dysfunctions with Rich Hazel

17 February, 2023, 9:00 am - 20 February, 2023, 5:30 pm

$1550

This 4 day Motor Point for tricky conditions of the head, jaw, neck, shoulders and upper extremities is a continuation of the previous courses. There will be much more practical element to this course as there needs to be plenty of practice in the tricky areas of the neck for Motor point practice in order to avoid serious injury.

*This course will be conducted and presented solely by Dr Rich Hazel, with a few additional bonus content.

So who is this workshop for? This workshop is for qualified practitioners who are focused on treating acute or chronic pains and who work with professional or amateur athletes that would like to increase their performance and get reliable and measurable results!

Motor Point Acupuncture is highly effective and can produce fast and lasting results in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

This seminar and workshop will assume some knowledge of anatomy so that we can get further into the actions of the muscles.

Migraines can be a combination or entrapped Occipital nerves and trigger points. Shoulder pain that is not resolved with motor points can often be due to trigger points in the Infraspinatus and Deltoids or the Coracobrachialis.
Tennis elbow can be perpetuated by trigger points that are not releasing with motor points. If you want to be able to treat the patients who are not getting better with just motor points you must learn to find and release the trigger points that generate pain and cause joint dysfunction.
We’ll be covering motor points and trigger points for the first time ever.
Learn how to palpate and treat trigger points with a gentle dry needling approach that I have developed over time.
We’ll cover precautions, treatment and post treatment recommendations for your patients.

About the Presenter

Rich Hazel uses a unique style of acupuncture that relies heavily on knowledge of neurology and sports medicine. He was one of very few people to learn Motor Point Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York where he completed his Master of Science in Acupuncture, Orthopedic & Sports Medicine. Rich has also studied Neurofunctional Acupuncture and Exstore Functional Muscle Assessment with some of the best orthopedic acupuncturists in North America and spent years studying trigger points and the treatment of myofascial pain from the works of Dr. Janet Travell and Dr. C Chan Gunn.

His unique style allows Rich to get excellent results for sports injuries, sports mobility and performance, and acute and chronic pain of all kinds. He now teaches this unique style of acupuncture to other acupuncturists in the US and abroad and is on the faculty at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York.
