A Beginner’s Guide to Motor Point Acupuncture Seminar Recording

Event recorded on 14th February 2019.

Course Overview

Practitioners of motor point acupuncture recognise that most pain is just a symptom of dysfunctional movement patterns, or postural issues.

By finding the dysfunction and treating muscle inhibition we can restore mobility, joint range of motion, and blood circulation which will decrease pain and inflammation in a very few sessions.

This course is the prerequisite components edited from the Motor Point Acupuncture: Foundations with Rich Hazel seminar recorded in 2019 to encompass all the relevant information required for any beginners in Motorpoints Acupuncture or for any of those who would like to get a taster into theory, explanation, physiology etc. It contains a detailed overview about Motor Point Acupuncture and the concepts used to apply this technique in practice.

The contents of this course was also provided in Introduction to Motor Points Acupuncture with Rich Hazel, a seminar recorded in 2016. It was also covered briefly in Intensive Sports Acupuncture: Motor Point Lower Extremity Assessment and Treatment Strategies (Foundations) with Rich Hazel, a seminar recorded in 2022.

This course does not go over the practical content that was recorded in each of the aforementioned seminars. For a more comprehensive understanding of how motor points can be applied in practice, please visit the links to our various motor point acupuncture courses below.
