These issues will need to be researched in advance and should not be taken as legal advice but more general guidance.  \n\nAbout the Presenters\n\n\nProfessor Michael Weir is a professor and lecturer of law at Bond University\, a member of the the Public Panel of Assessors under the Health Ombudsman Act and author of “ Law and Ethics in Complementary Medicine”\, Dr Weir is the perfect person to keep us up to date with our legal and ethical obligations as acupuncturists and Chinese medicine practitioners in Australia. \n\nAngela Doolan is currently studying a PhD at Bond University under Professor Michael Weir and Associate Professor Wendy Bonython. Her current topic is “Protecting the Public from Harm? Optimizing the Regulation of Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practitioners in Australia.” \nAngela holds a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from the University of New England\, Armidale. Her honours thesis was on The Right to Health and Traditional and Complementary Medicine in International Law.
