Our faces are unique in their ability to radiate shen\, reveal our emotions\, desires\, and intentions\, and provide a window into our overall health. As acupuncturists\, we have the expertise to use the face as a diagnostic and treatment tool for underlying issues that may eventually lead to disease. This course will teach students how to treat facial expression lines with specialized treatment protocols based on the usage of facial motor points. \nWebinar Overview\n\nFamiliarize students with a deeper level of knowledge of facial anatomy\, and how different muscle groups work together to express different emotions\nIntroduce students to the connections between our emotions\, and our facial expressions (muscles) and our organs\nDescribe the expression of the emotions of different organ systems and the acupuncture points used to access them\nProvide treatment strategies\n\nUpon completion of this webinar\, practitioners will: \n\nLearn facial motor point locations\nLearn how facial expressions relate to certain facial muscles\nAcquire a knowledge of how the emotions evolve on the face\n\n\nAbout Michelle Gellis (AP\, LAc\, MAc\, DiplAc)\n\nMichelle Gellis is a Licensed and Board Certified Acupuncture Physician.
